It's that time of the year again when my wife Kim and I ride 168 km from Grand Bend to London and back on our tandem bicycle to raise money to help find a cure for MS. Kim is an MS patient and we have been fundraising for six years to find a cure for this debilitating disease. Unfortunately Kim will not be riding this year on the bicycle built for two. Kim will be working as a volunteer while I do the cycling. I am hopeful that with many new breakthroughs in the works and with your help, I know we can find a cure. Thank you for your continued support over the years. If you would like to join us on the ride July 23-24 please contact me yvon@platinumsynergy.com

Ontario's largest two-day Tour! Beginning at Lake Huron in Grand Bend, you will cycle along quiet rural roads to the University of Western Ontario in London for an overnight stay. Enjoy a fun evening of dinner, dancing, and prizes. The next morning, cycle back to Grand Bend for a well-deserved massage and finish line barbecue. The Tour includes rest stops every 10 - 15KM stocked with snacks and beverages and lunch at the halfway point. Support vehicles, bicycle repair shops and experienced cyclists are on route to provide first aid and basic bike repair services.

Support me in the RONA MS Bike Tour and make a difference in the life of someone living with MS.

In addition to funding research, the MS Society of Canada provides support and services to help those living with this disease, their families and caregivers.

MS SocietyA great big thank you to all of you who sponsored me in the RONA MS Bike Tour this weekend to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. Seventeen hundred and twenty eight of us left Grand Bend Saturday morning on our bikes at 8am under very cloudy skies.

We managed to escape the rain until the beginning of the third of five stages of the event. To make a long journey short, we cycled in on and off rain for the remainder of the tour. The last 10kms were ridden in a torrential downpour We were met at the finish line by our MS Ambassador Mike Augustine in his wheelchair looking like a drowned rat high fiving everyone crossing the finish line.

My wife Kim and I arrived in London at 1:57PM, making our journey just under 6 hrs long for day 1.Day 2 from London back to Grand Bend was a much more pleasant experience, no rain just lots of sore body parts.

We raised $1,124,000 and had lots of fun.

I am already looking forward to next year.
